Privacy notice

Cvelo processes CV data only to create, edit, render, and download your CV draft.

Data we process

Uploaded PDFs, extracted CV content, editor changes, style settings, generated PDFs, payment status, and an anonymous guest cookie identifier.

Retention

Guest drafts expire after 30 days. Expired drafts and generated PDFs are removed by lifecycle cleanup. You can also delete your draft from the editor at any time.

Third parties

AI parsing and suggestions may send CV text to the configured AI provider when enabled. Payments are handled by Stripe when payments are enabled.

Logs

Normal service logs use draft IDs, lengths, statuses, hashes, and generic failure classes. They are not intended to contain CV content, raw filenames, cookies, email addresses, or source text.

Waitlist

If you join the Cvelo waitlist, we store your email address, signup time, and source or locale when provided. We use this only to notify you when Cvelo is ready or launched. You can remove your email address at any time through the unsubscribe link or by contacting Cvelo. Transactional waitlist emails are sent through the configured SMTP/email infrastructure. We do not use the waitlist for unrelated marketing or a newsletter.
